Giorgos Aggelopoulos, traditional greek songs.

Giorgos Aggelopoulos was born in 1983 in Patra. When he was 14 years old, he started to study Byzantine music and his first teacher was Demetrios Galanis. When he was 21 years old, he graduated the "Diploma of Byzantine music" and he started to service at many churches as Protopsaltis. The same period he started his studies at the Technological Institut of Epirus in "Folk and Traditional Music". At the Technological Institut he specialized in phonetics under the supervision of famous teachers as Christos Zotos, Panagiotis Lalezas, Christos Tzitzimikas and Manos Koutsaggelidis. Beside the phonetic studies he had his first touch with the theory and armony of the traditional music. In his career he cooperated with some of the most famous musicians as Christos Zotos, Stathis Koukoularis, Alexander Arkadopoulos, Stauros Kouskouridas, Giorgos Floudas, Apostolis Vaggelakis, Kostas Meretakis and many others. His first touch with the teaching of music was in 2008, when he started to teach music at the "Gymnastiki etaireia Agriniou". From September of 2009 he started his cooperation with "Sholeion Psaltikis".
